An update from the State-Education Subcommittee
The State-Education subcommittee is planning to develop a survey that they will distribute to administrators (principals, staff, boards, etc.) as well as teachers this coming school year.
Members of the subcommittee have noted that the lack of funding for a financial education component in Washington schools, and the lack of consistency in financial education curriculum are major concerns of theirs.
The subcommittee is also looking at what resources are or can be made available to Washington educators.
If you know of any resources, please email them to me at jlushene@dfi.wa.gov. I’ll forward them to the Subcommittee.
